I've had good intentions to update regularly but it seems that time is just flying by. I won't complain though, because the faster time goes the faster we meet our little monkey!
Yesterday marked 28 weeks, the beginning of the third trimester. I cannot believe we are two-thirds of the way there.
My ever-growing stomach has not only grown by the day but it has become a great source of amusement to me (and Brent of course). Baby B is soooo busy and some of the kicks and punches I get are HUGE!! I could sit and watch my belly move for hours. Feeling this little one inside me is something I don't think I could ever get used to or ever get sick of. As each day passes, the pokes grow bigger and so does the immense feeling of love I have for this little person I haven't met yet. I'm already surpised how overwhelming this feeling is. I guess I really am becoming a mom.
We had our 28 week appointment today. We're not at bi-weekly appointments. Belly is measuring good, blood pressure is good, passed diabetes test and hemoglobin levels are great! B's heart rate sounded good AND I've only gained 1lb since my last visit (I seriously thought that number was going to be WAY higher!).
Baby B: I just want to say THANK YOU! So far, I've been feeling pretty good, you move just enough so I know you're doing okay, and I've missed out on a lot of miserable symptoms people talk about! I owe ya!!
