Just like I dreamed it would be

There are good days and not so good days and there are easy days and ones that aren't so easy. You'll learn this about life in general.

Today was one of those days that I dreamed of when I thought about being a mom. You, my sweet girl, have been such a wonderful baby. Don't get me wrong, you're wonderful all of the time but today we have had such an amazing day together.

You woke up a little early (6:15) but you woke up smiling (as usual). And you had slept all night in your crib. You had you first nap early and even fell asleep on your own in the crib (this is a new skill, more on that later). I fed you some applesauce and squash while I had my tea. Then I have you some puffs which means Lilo spent that part of breakfast by your side.

We headed off to bootcamp where you smiled and played pretty much the entire time. You had a little nap on the way home and while I picked up a few groceries.

Then we played! We played and you were so happy and giggly! I couldn't help but stay on the floor with you and play because it was honestly so much fun.

And then, for the second time today, I put you in your crib to nap and you fell asleep in minutes. I was able to get in a nice hot shower.

Now I sit here in my housecoat, with a towel on my head, looking at you on the video monitor and thinking "I am so lucky". You have made me so so so lucky. You're the baby everyone dreams of, the baby I dreamed of.
